PASMA Towers for Users — Full Day
The PASMA Towers for Users course is the gold-standard qualification for anyone who assembles, dismantles, moves, inspects or uses mobile access towers in the workplace. Delivered by our accredited PASMA instructors at our Croydon training centre, this full-day course combines classroom theory with hands-on practical assessment.

Identifying tower components, recognising defects and damage, pre-use inspection procedures and when to remove equipment from service.
Through-the-Trap (3T) and Advanced Guard Rail (AGR) assembly sequences — understanding when each method is appropriate and the safety implications.
Selecting the right tower for the task, surface assessment, wind loading, overhead hazards, exclusion zones and working in confined spaces.
Supervised hands-on build of both single and double-width towers using the 3T and AGR methods, including stabiliser configuration and platform installation.
Written test covering legislation, inspection, risk assessment and tower configuration. An 80% pass mark is required. Results confirmed same day.
PASMA Towers for Users is the essential qualification for anyone who works with mobile access towers — whether you're trade, maintenance, events, or facilities management.
Electricians, plasterers, decorators, roofers and general contractors who regularly use scaffold towers on-site or in residential properties.
Maintenance teams in commercial buildings, warehouses, retail and leisure environments who need regular access to elevated areas for inspections and repairs.
Stage crew, AV technicians, lighting riggers and events teams who assemble and use towers for set builds, rigging and technical installations.

Caretakers, site managers and maintenance staff in schools, hospitals and public buildings who need to work safely at height on a regular basis.
Anyone hiring a scaffold tower from Access Towers Services or another provider — having a PASMA card demonstrates competence and protects you legally.
On successful completion of the PASMA Towers for Users course, you'll be issued with a PASMA Photocard and Certificate — the most widely recognised proof of mobile access tower competence in the UK.
Your PASMA photocard is valid for five years and is accepted by construction companies, facilities managers, local authorities and main contractors across the UK as evidence of your training and competence.
